Assistant Chief Engineer Full Time

We are looking for an Assistant Chief Engineer at Time Rako Hotel Qatar. An assistant chief engineer is the person who is the subordinate of the chief engineer. In his absence, the whole responsibility is taken by the assistant chief engineer. He assigns the task to the employees who are best suited for that job. He makes sure that the employees are safe and doing their work with full enthusiasm and responsibility.

Assistant Chief Engineer should be highly innovative and versatile. In big organizations where complex machinery is present which affects the efficient working of the industry; trained and skilled assistant chief engineers are employed in order to take care of the working of the machinery. This is a highly paid job and brings high rewards with good performance. The person should be good with calculations and should know what job should be assigned to which person.

In many organizations the assistant chief engineer oversees the managers and supervisors. An assistant chief engineer has a lot of responsibilities that are to be taken care of in order to become an efficient worker. In the companies that take care of the construction work, he is also required to keep a track that the safety of the employees is ensured and no one is working without willingness to work.

Assistant Chief Engineer Responsibilities

• He should know his duties properly so that he can allocate people in different projects according to their capability
• Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating all the preventive maintenance and repair work
• One of his basic responsibilities is to lead, train and develop skills of the subordinates to get optimum quality, performance and productivity. Higher the productivity, higher would be the profits of the company
• While recruiting people he makes sure that all the people are experts in their work, only then the work can be carried out with proper ease
• Assistant chief engineers makes various policies that can help in the growth of the organization, takes up meeting from time to time in order to explain different functions and duties to his subordinates
• Assistant chief engineers responsibility if to keep the data of all the work with himself, all the records of what work is done by whom and whether that work is profitable for the company or not
• He has to make sure that all the work that he assigns to various employees is absolutely safe so that no mishap takes place at the work site.

Qualification:

• He should be excellent in communicating. He should be able to give the right information to his subordinates
• He/she should have strong leadership abilities so that he can assign different projects to different people
• He is expected to have working knowledge with budget preparation, cost analysis and cost evaluations because these are the necessary areas that he should be good at before working on any project
• He should be friendly and tactful at the same time in order to be able to work with expertise

• The engineer should be a graduate with an engineer’s degree.
• He should have a prior working experience of more than two years in the same field.
• Any other diploma or degree will increase the value of the candidate.
